Privacy Policy
1. Controller
TenderDigest, an initiative of Synquire, is the controller for personal data processed via this Service. Contact: via the subscribe address on synquire.com.
2. What we process, and why
- Email address and language preference — to deliver the digest and alerts you asked for. Legal basis: consent (double opt-in).
- Your tracked tenders, pipeline stages and notes — to provide the workbench features. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested.
- Company profile data (sectors, regions, size range, keywords), if you provide it — solely to compute your personalised tender matches. It is never sold, never shared, and not used to train models. Legal basis: performance of the service.
- Buyer contact details from public notices (organisation contact points, emails, phone numbers as published in official journals) — to provide procurement-intelligence features such as buyer dossiers. Contact details are shown to signed-in subscribers only. Where a contact point names an individual, we process it under legitimate interest; write to us to have a personal contact detail suppressed.
- Payment and subscription data — your card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not by us; we store only your subscription tier, its expiry, and a Stripe customer reference. Legal basis: performance of contract.
- Followed buyers and tracked tenders — to deliver the alerts you enable. Legal basis: performance of the service.
- Technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) — processed by our infrastructure provider for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers or social pixels. The only cookie we set is the essential access cookie that signs you in as a subscriber.
3. Processors
We use Cloudflare (hosting, database — EU jurisdiction options), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (drafting of editorial content — no subscriber personal data is sent to it). Each processes data under its own data-processing terms.
4. Retention
Subscriber data is kept while your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your address is retained only in suppression form (so we don't email you again); tracked-tender and profile data is deleted on request. Aggregated procurement statistics contain no personal data (published buyer/winner organisation names in public notices are not private information — they originate from the EU's official journal).
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing — write to us via the contact above. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority ( dataprotectionauthority.be). Unsubscribing is always one click, in every email.
