How these numbers are computed

Source: official TED (EU) open data, Belgian buyers. TED data is often incomplete — every aggregate shows a coverage figure: the share of underlying records that actually carried the field. Values are as published (mixed currencies are rare; treated as EUR).

The competitiveness score (0–100) blends three signals per sector: average bidders per contest (45%, capped at 8), the share of single-bid awards (30%, inverted), and the top-5 winners' share of awarded value (25%, inverted). Higher = more contested market. Scores over low-coverage data should be read as indicative.
